Flumar, operating out of Sao Paulo, is a fully integrated shipowning company with functions for chartering, operations and ship management. The ships are primarily traded on the Brazilian coast but also within Mercosul, the common market consisting of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay.
The fleet consists of three stainless steel chemical tankers, ranging in sizes from 4.400 to 13.800 DWT and primarily carry bulk liquid chemicals. All ships fly Brazilian flag and employ Brazilian crews.
Flumar is fully owned by Odfjell, and conduct its business to high quality, safety and environmental standards in accordance with our Company’s Code of Conduct.
Flumar Ship Management is ISM certified and Flumar is about to be ISO 9001-2008 certified.
