More than a hundred vacationing crew and family members participated in the last provincial Crew and Allottees conference of the year.
Odfjell Philippines, Inc. President Captain Remigio Zamora opened the event with a presentation about the company, and some updates on recent developments in the organization.

When introducing the newbuildings, he explained:
“Our seafarers are made for the most sophisticated vessels.”

Together with Manager Ship Audit Captain Marlo Salayo, Zamora led the awarding of token and certificate to Motorman Hilario Grana, who joined Odfjell exactly 29 years earlier.

Crewing Officer Rodney Perez shared some updates on Crewing processes, while Magsaysay Houlder Insurance Brokers, Inc.'s (MHIBI) Gemma Cardona presented the health insurance benefits of Odfjell seafarers and their dependents.
Crew Safety Workshop

The Crew Safety Workshop commenced with group discussions on the hazards and PPE needed for typical tasks on board.

The results of the group work were presented to all the participants, encouraging further discussions on how to improve Odfjell's safety culture.
The Allottees Workshop also commenced with group discussions on cultivating financial wellness and emergency preparedness.

Each group shared tips and best practices on how to make sure their families are prepared for unexpected circumstances, or the worst of times.
