Odfjell Terminals Houston (OTH) plays a critical role in the import, export, and distribution of bulk liquid chemicals. As one of the most advanced independent terminals in the world, OTH supports both regional industry and global trade.

OTH is equipped with systems for pressurization, nitrogen blanketing, heating, and vapor recovery. It also offers extensive railcar and truck handling facilities, and is easily accessible for vessels, barges, railcars, and trucks. ISO-certified, a Responsible Care® partner, and a Foreign Trade Zone facility, OTH delivers operational excellence while maintaining rigorous regulatory compliance.

Odfjell holds a 51% ownership interest in OTH.

OTH is strategically located at the entrance of the Houston Ship Channel, the major international hub for import and export of chemicals to and from the USA.

Access types

The site offers a wide range of modalities and is equipped with extensive railcar and truck handling facilities.

Permitting

OTUS is permitted to handle over 850 liquids and gases, including intermediate, specialty or toxic and hazardous chemicals.

Land expansion

OTH has land available to add approx. 190,000 cbm of storage capacity.
