Located on the Cooper River in South Carolina, Odfjell Terminals Charleston (OTC) offers safe and efficient storage and handling solutions for a wide range of liquid products.

The terminal supports operations for vessels, barges, railcars, isotanks, and trucks. It connects to key U.S. rail and highway networks and offers direct transfer options between transport modes. This operation allows for expedited shipments in a cost-efficient manner by avoiding tank storage and reducing or eliminating equipment detention and demurrage.

Equipped with pressurized storage, nitrogen compensation, and vapor control systems, OTC ensures high standards of product safety and environmental performance.

Odfjell SE holds a 51% ownership interest in OTC.

The site is equipped with broad railcar and truck handling facilities. Easily accessible for vessels and barges.

Permitting

OTC is permitted to handle a large number of liquids, including vegetable oil. Food-grade products, intermediate, specialty, or toxic and hazardous chemicals.

Land available for expansion

OTC has land available to add approx. 80,000 cbm of storage capacity, across approx. 14 tanks.
