Flumar SM Holds Inaugural Officer’s Seminar for 2024

The event included presentations from a range of perspectives, including:

• Engine matters 
• Material protection for Deck officers 
• SIRE 2.0 
• Audits and inspections 
• Event handling in the SM Portal 
• Flumar operations 
• Budget and commercial perspectives

The sessions were presented by Christopher Stene, Manager of the Material Protection Group, Capt. Trevor Northage, Sr. MSI; Capt. Vinicius Madruga Santos, HSSEQ Manager; Roberto Barroso, Technical Manager; Krichna Leonor, TSI; and Rodrigo Menegatti, Operations Manager. CTO Torger Trige and President Flumar Knut Øvrebø also attended.  

“The day was deemed a success, with high anticipation for subsequent seminars later this year, aiming to engage all Flumar officers,” VP Fleet Flumar, Raymond Gjendemsjø, said.
