In June, Ship Management welcomed the latest batches of newly hired seafarers to Bergen for a comprehensive onboarding and training program.

The groups—composed of third engineers, third officers, deck cadets, engine cadets, and deck trainees—are taking part in Elite Intro, our in-house program focused on Odfjell’s safety culture, onboard leadership, and working environment.

The program includes HSSE training, giving participants a hands-on introduction to the behavior expected across our fleet, from safety procedures to ethical standards.

“This marks the start of their journey with us, and we are glad to see their enthusiasm and dedication from day one. With the right mindset, training, and support, we look forward to seeing them grow into key contributors to our operations at sea,” says Manager Competence Development Karianne Grønseth.
