Despite being affected by Typhoon Rai (local name: Odette) themselves, several Odfjell seafarers took the initiative to extend help to typhoon victims in Negros Occidental, southern Philippines.
Making a difference
On Christmas Day, more than 130 families in Barangay Tinongan, Isabela, Negros Occidental received the food packs, the first time anyone reached out to them since the typhoon devastated Central Visayas and Northeastern Mindanao:
