A total of 16 individuals and two groups joined our Photo & Video Competition. Quite a small number, but not bad for the first run of a competition of this sort.
To a facilitate a more organized and efficient evaluation process for the jury, the entries were grouped into three categories:
- Best single photo
- Best photo series
- Best video
All entries where registered in a master list, with the contenders’ names removed before the list was forwarded to the jury composed of: Interim Global Head of Ship Management Torger Trige, Interim VP Maritime Personnel Svend Foyn-Bruun, Manager Ship Audit Marlo Salayo and Manager Competence Development Karianne Grønseth.
Entries for all three categories were judged based on the following criteria:
- Safety
- Relevance to theme (What is it like to work and live on board these days?)
- Impact and inspiration
