Restructuring of Fleet Bergen

The Ship Management team in Bergen has grown significantly this year, as has the number of vessels to be managed by Fleet Bergen. When all the transfers are completed from Sinochem, the Bergen fleet will count a total of 39 vessels. 
 

The restructuring includes:

• Establishment of three Teams 
• Each Team has one Team leader, who reports to VP Fleet Management, Knut Erik Fredriksen 
• VP Fleet Management Knut Erik Fredriksen will maintain personnel responsibility for Manager Marine Support, Team Leaders, Technical Superintendents, and Fleet Coordinator. Personnel responsibility for Marine Superintendents lies with Manager Marine Support.

The intention is to distribute complete vessel classes in the teams. Other ships (single or in smaller classes) will be distributed according to their age and challenges, and vessels that are scheduled for delivery during 2018 will not be reallocated until completion. The reallocation between teams will take place over a period to make transfers as smooth as possible.
