Bow Olympus arrives in first loading port

Captain Raymond Gjendemsjø and the rest of the Bow Olympus pioneer crew arrive in Ulsan to load first ever cargo.

 

After departing the Hudong shipyard on November 6th, Bow Olympus has arrived in Ulsan, South Korea for an SK Lubricants voyage to the United States.

During the weeks leading to the maiden voyage, the vessel’s officers and crew went through weeks of trainings and familiarization sessions along with the Electricians, Surveyors and Superintendents.

 


The second of Odfjell’s four newbuilt 49,000 dwt chemical was formally named on July 1st, and was delivered on the first of November.
