The delegation, which represents over 480 major chemical and logistics enterprises in China, was on a tour to learn more about the industry. Among the visitors were representatives from ChengXi shipyard, who are expanding capacity for chemical tankers, Sinopec Chemical Logistics, and the CEO of ONTT, the group that acquired Odfjell’s former terminal.
CSO Øistein Jensen, together with VP Asia Pacific Thomas M. Lund, VP HSSEQ Gunnar Moen, and HSE Manager Arve Matland, presented Odfjell’s approach to maritime logistics, digitalization, safety practices, and the green transition.
