Fresh from drydock in Bahrain, Flumar Brasil went back to work with a milestone voyage. On her first trip after redelivery to Petrobras, the vessel carried 47,467.10 MT to Richards Bay—the largest single load in Flumar’s history.

The milestone was marked onboard on August 2, when Captain Marcos Rodrigues and his crew received Flumar’s management team. The visit focused on safety, efficiency, and performance, with practical exchanges between ship and shore.

For Alessio Contran, Managing Director/General Manager of Flumar, the call was his first time onboard the vesse:

“It was a pleasure meeting the Captain and his crew, and engaging in open discussions on how we—both onboard and ashore—can continue improving together to deliver quality services aligned with Odfjell’s mission, vision, and values. I’m already looking forward to the next visit,” he said.

With the drydocking completed and a record-setting delivery achieved, Flumar Brasil is back in service and continuing her role in strengthening Flumar’s operations.
