Manila colleagues come aboard Bow Optima

Internal News | 30.09.2026

On September 13, some of our Manila-based colleagues had the opportunity to step aboard Bow Optima during the vessel’s call in the Philippines.

The visit gave the group a closer look at the vessel and the working environment of our seafaring colleagues. During their time onboard, they toured different areas of Bow Optima, learned more about the vessel’s day-to-day operations and gained a better understanding of the work carried out at sea.

For colleagues who usually support our vessels from shore, being onboard offered a different perspective on the work and coordination between our shore organization and vessels.

It was also an opportunity to meet and spend time with the people they work with beyond the usual emails and online meetings.

Thank you to Captain Marius Løftingsmo and the entire Bow Optima crew for the warm welcome and for taking the time to show our colleagues around the vessel.
