Odfjell's fleet renewal continues with the addition of Bow Pluto, Bow Tanaka, and Bow Frontier

July marked another milestone in Odfjell's fleet renewal program with the launch of three new vessels in Japan, reinforcing the company's commitment to safe, efficient, and sustainable chemical transportation. These milestones reflect Odfjell's continued investment in a modern, high-performance fleet that strengthens operational capabilities while supporting customers around the world.

Bow Pluto

The latest addition is Bow Pluto, a 26,000 dwt newbuilding delivered to Odfjell Chemical Tankers on July 31 from the Shin Kurushima Shipyard in Japan. She joins sister vessel Bow Neptune and will be managed by Odfjell Management, further expanding the company's fleet of modern stainless steel chemical tankers.

Earlier in the same week, Bow Tanaka, a 40,000 dwt chemical tanker, was delivered to Odfjell Chemical Tankers on July 29 from the Kitanihon Shipyard in Japan. She joins sister vessel Bow Erikson, further strengthening Odfjell's deep-sea fleet with increased capacity and operational flexibility.

Meanwhile, during the first half of July, Bow Frontier was also named and launched as part of Odfjell's extensive newbuilding program. Scheduled to join the fleet following her final outfitting later this year, the 25,000 dwt vessel features 24 stainless steel tanks and is designed to deliver the high standards of safety, quality, and operational performance that define Odfjell's operations.

Together, Bow Pluto, Bow Tanaka, and Bow Frontier represent another significant step in Odfjell's long-term fleet renewal strategy.
