Bow Pluto
The latest addition is Bow Pluto, a 26,000 dwt newbuilding delivered to Odfjell Chemical Tankers on July 31 from the Shin Kurushima Shipyard in Japan. She joins sister vessel Bow Neptune and will be managed by Odfjell Management, further expanding the company's fleet of modern stainless steel chemical tankers.
Bow Tanaka
Earlier in the same week, Bow Tanaka, a 40,000 dwt chemical tanker, was delivered to Odfjell Chemical Tankers on July 29 from the Kitanihon Shipyard in Japan. She joins sister vessel Bow Erikson, further strengthening Odfjell's deep-sea fleet with increased capacity and operational flexibility.
Bow Frontier
Meanwhile, during the first half of July, Bow Frontier was also named and launched as part of Odfjell's extensive newbuilding program. Scheduled to join the fleet following her final outfitting later this year, the 25,000 dwt vessel features 24 stainless steel tanks and is designed to deliver the high standards of safety, quality, and operational performance that define Odfjell's operations.
Together, Bow Pluto, Bow Tanaka, and Bow Frontier represent another significant step in Odfjell's long-term fleet renewal strategy. By continuing to invest in modern, high-performance vessels, Odfjell is strengthening its ability to provide safe, reliable, and sustainable transportation solutions while supporting the future of the global chemical shipping industry.
