What prompted this change?

This change was implemented to align company practices with industry standards, streamline payroll-related transactions, and allow seafarers to better access and manage their earnings while onboard.

Can I opt not to receive my full wage balance?

No. This change applies to all Filipino seafarers.

When is the effectivity of this change?

The first full wage settlement will cover wages earned up to June 30, 2026 and will be paid on July 10, 2026.

When will I receive my full wage balance?

The full wage settlement will be released every 10th of the following month.

Where will my wage balance be remitted?

Your wage balance will be credited to your registered primary dollar account in Compas (CIMS).

Can I still request a cash advance via ShipMoney?

Yes. Cash-to-card requests through ShipMoney will continue to be accommodated, provided your onboard pay balance is positive.

Is special remittance still available?

No. All cash advance requests will now be processed exclusively through ShipMoney.

Will there be any changes to my allotment?

No changes will be made. However, we strongly recommend including yourself as the main allottee to ensure full control and access to your account.

How much should I expect as my final wage?

Your final wage will consist of:

  • Pro-rated wages from the most recent payroll period
  • Accrued leave pay
  • Loyalty bonus, if applicable


Can I nominate a different account for my wage balance payout?

No. All full wage settlements will be remitted only to the seafarer's registered primary dollar account.

My current allotment setup includes my Leave Pay. How will this change affect me?

We will reach out to affected seafarers regarding the revision of their allotment setup.

How can I move my funds via online banking if I don't receive OTPs (one-time passwords) while sailing?

Please register your mobile phone on your banking app as a trusted device before signing on. Once your device is registered, OTPs are generally no longer required when transferring funds through the banking app.
