ORBIE award recognizes OTUS’ leadership in cybersecurity

Lee Scott, Cybersecurity Officer at Odfjell Terminals US (OTUS), has been named winner of the 2026 Corporate ORBIE Award, recognizing excellence in cybersecurity leadership.

The HoustonCISO ORBIE Awards honor Chief Information Security Officers who demonstrate strong leadership, business value creation, and active engagement across industry and community initiatives. More than 130 nominations were submitted this year, underscoring the depth and maturity of cybersecurity leadership across the Houston business community.

Scott was selected through an independent, peer‑adjudicated process led by previous ORBIE recipients and won in the category for organizations with up to USD 1 billion in annual revenue.

The recognition reflects OTUS’ continued focus on cybersecurity as a core element of operational resilience. As a provider of critical energy and industrial infrastructure, OTUS works systematically to protect its operations, customers and partners in an increasingly complex digital landscape.

“The terminals we operate are critical infrastructure for the ports and regions where we are present. Cybersecurity is therefore not a side topic for IT — it is fundamental to resilience and safe operations,” says Adrian Lenning, Managing Director of Odfjell Terminals.

In recent years, OTUS has strengthened its cybersecurity capabilities through close collaboration with Odfjell Corporate IT and other terminals across the group, sharing insights, technology and best practices to further enhance protection across operations.

Established in 1998, the ORBIE Awards are regarded as one of the premier executive leadership awards in the technology industry, recognizing leadership excellence among C‑suite executives. Lee Scott is the second of the OTUS’ team to be awarded with ORBIE: IT Director Aldrich Varilla won in 2023
