
The event at Citadines Bacolod opened with a safety briefing and welcome message from Crew and Family Affairs Team Lead Olive De Vera, and updates from the Management by Odfjell in the Philippine President and General Manager Agnes Enesio, followed by an awarding ceremony honoring long-serving crew.

“Behind every safe voyage is a network of support, both on board and at home. This conference is one way to recognize that partnership and reinforce Odfjell’s long-standing commitment to our people,” shares Crew and Family Affairs Team Lead Olive De Vera.
Bosun Rodclint Bernas, who joined Odfjell on August 6, 1999, as a Deck Boy, was awarded for his 25 years of Exceptional Loyalty and Service. His first assignment was aboard NCC Jubail. In the years since, he has served on vessels including Bow Hunter, Bow Sailor, and Bow Mate, building a career marked by professionalism and loyalty.

Workshops ran in parallel during the morning:
- A Safety Workshop led by Compliance Auditor Edilardo Vicedo III, attended by all crew members
- An Allottee Workshop titled Sailing Together: Strengthening Family Bonds Beyond Horizon, facilitated by Charito F. Ybias, MBA-HRM
The children were treated to a separate session to create a more inclusive experience for families.

Afternoon sessions focused on welfare and financial literacy, including updates from MHIBI and ShipMoney, and a savings and debt management talk delivered by BDO Visayas.

Throughout the day, attendees had access to dedicated booths from Pag-IBIG, MHIBI, and ShipMoney for one-on-one assistance.

The day concluded with feedback sharing, raffle draws, and a message of appreciation, reinforcing the importance of continued engagement with seafarers and their families across the regions.
