This innovative solution aligns seamlessly with Odfjell's dedication to discovering efficient and environmentally friendly alternatives in the chemical transportation industry, culminating in the first UREA Barge delivery to Odfjell's Bow Explorer.
Streamlining operations while benefiting the environment
Boasting a pump capacity of up to 50 m3/hour, the UREA Barge eliminates the need for IBC handling, streamlining operations, and delivering environmental benefits. The innovative design reduces bunkering time (80% reduction), while simultaneously saving 2,3 tonnes of plastic packing/waste and 8-10 tonnes CO2 emission per bunkering compared with traditional IBC supplies/handling and pumping.
