Bow Hercules is a highly sophisticated, 40,900 dwt chemical tanker with 30 stainless steel tanks, built at the Hantong Wing Shipyard in China. The newbuilt vessel will take part of Chempool 40 together with seven sister ships, all of which are capable of handling a wide variety of our customers’ specialty products – with proven energy efficiency.
Chempool 40 is commercially managed by Odfjell Tankers. The pool partners are Odfjell Tankers and Sinochem Shipping, and of the eight ships in the pool, four are on long-term bareboat charter to Odfjell. These will fly the Norwegian NIS flag and be managed by Odfjell Ship Management.
