'Sustainable shipowner award' to Odfjell

Odfjell has been announced as winner of the ‘Sustainable Shipowner Award’ at the Hamburg Maritime Forum 2021 for “a dedication to sustainability and environment protection that is a great example for the maritime industry”.

“We have come a long way at Odfjell, but still have many challenges to overcome to achieve our target of becoming climate neutral by 2050. Many thanks to the Hamburg Maritime Forum and the IGGS Group for putting sustainability on the agenda, and for this inspiring recognition of our efforts.”

The Hamburg Maritime Forum is a two-day conference and exhibition that gathers maritime industry decision-makers and experts from various segments. As part of the event, several awards are presented, among them maritime technology and innovation awards and sustainable port, shipyard, and shipowners awards. The awardees were elected through a nomination and online voting process. Hamburg Maritime Forum is organized by the IGGS Group.
