Third and Second Engineers

We are seeking Northwestern European Third and Second Engineers to join our teams at sea.

Tasks

  • Daily operations and maintenance of machinery
  • Participation in planning meetings in machinery department
  • Follow-up of motorman apprentice/engine cadet
  • Engine watch
  • Bunkering
  • Active participation in a safe work environment on board

 

Requirements

  • Minimum E4 for Third Engineer and Minimum E2 for Second Engineer
  • Advanced Safety Training STCW A-VI/1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4
  • Advanced Firefighting A-VI/3-1
  • Medical First Aid A-VI/4-1
  • Security Duties A VI/ 6-4
  • Valid medical certificate
  • STCW
  • ERM/High Voltage Management
  • Passport
  • Seaman’s book

 

Additional Preferred Requirements

  • International work and/or study experience
  • Interest in working with different cultures and teams
  • Onboard experience from chemical tankers
  • Tankerman Highest Grade Certificate
